TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The technical information for each product is outlined as the example below. The plan drawings are scaled to 1:200 in our printed catalogue, plan drawings on the website are NOT to scale. Please note that any component/colour combinations are a guide only and can be altered to meet your specific requirements provided that any alterations meet EN1176 standards.
The intended age range for each product is found in the introduction section of each range.

Technical Definitions
- Largest part
Approximate dimensions in metres (m) of the largest part of a single component on the equipment. - Heaviest part
Approximate weight in kilograms (kg) of the heaviest part of a single component on the equipment. - Total weight
Approximate total weight shown in kilograms (kg) of the whole product/piece of equipment. - Minimum space
Space occupied by equipment plus falling space and free space. - Free Fall height
As defined by EN1176 (clause 3.6). Height being the greatest vertical distance from the clearly intended body support to the impact area below. The maximum fall height is specified on equipment with different fall heights. - Falling space
As defined by EN1176 (clause 3.5) as the space in, on or around the equipment that can be occupied by a user falling from an elevated part of the equipment. This is indicated on the 1:200 plan. - Free space
As defined by EN1176 (clause 3.4) as the space in, or around the equipment that can be occupied by a user undergoing a movement forced by the equipment for example, swinging, sliding or rocking. This is indicated on the 1:200 plan. - Safer Surface Area
Area required by EN1176 to have an impact absorbing playground surface which has been fully tested to EN1177 requirements. This is indicated as blue on the 1:200 plan and is used as a guide for wet pour safer surfacing.
